Benicia:
Very productive Californian variety. Plants are vigorous with very firm and attractive fruit.
Cavendish :
Mid-season production with average yield. Large fruit, light red and firm. Highly resistant to red stele.
Chambly :
A productive and very hardy variety. Large, firm fruit, dark in colour. Ideal for handpicking. Very sensitive to powdery mildew (oidium). Very well adapted to heavy soil.
Very large fruit but average firmness. Resistant to red stele and to downy mildew. Grows very few stolons.
Malwina:
Very late variety (one week later than Record). Very tolerant of verticillium wilt and red stele. Fruit is firm, rather dark in colour and very flavoursome.
Excellent yield, good-sized fruit during the entire harvest. Fruit is dark in colour and of average firmness. Good flavour.
Record:
A late variety with very firm, dark red fruit. Vigorous and very hardy plant.
Sparkle :
A late variety with low production. Fruit is average in size, very sweet. Ideal for processing.
Valley Sunset (KRS-10) :
Light-red fruit is sweet, large and firm. This cultivar is similar to Cabot, which allows you to extend your harvest into late July. Ideal for local markets.
This recurrent-flowering variety is similar to Diamante, but is later. Fruit is slightly orange, of excellent quality and offers good resistance to rain.
An early variety introduced by Kentville. Orange coloured fruit of average size. Sensitive to powdery mildew (oidium) but resistant to red stele.
