Encore (U.S. Plant Patent 11746) :

Late production with very vigorous and hardy plants. Fruit is large, very firm and has good flavour.

Festival :

Mid-season variety, excellent production. Very hardy cultivar with thornless stems. Fruit is light red and large, firm and delicious. Sensitive to stripe rust. Grows best in heavy soil.

Gatineau :

Very early variety with good quality fruit. Average production and hardiness. Sensitive to viruses (mosaic).

Kilarney :

A very popular variety. Thorny stems. Excellent production. Large, attractive and delicious fruit. Ideal for fresh produce markets.

Madawaska :

A very productive early variety. Large, firm and delicious fruit. Ideal cultivar for fresh produce markets and processing.

Nova :

A vigorous and hardy plant, thornless. Light red, large and delicious fruit. Resistant to stripe rust.

Octavia

A late variety, 7 to 10 days later than Encore. Very productive and fruit of interesting quality.

Prelude (U.S. Plant Patent 11747) :

Early variety producing firm and delicious fruit. Very hardy plants. This cultivar has a tendency for recurrent-flowering.

Taylor :

A vigorous and very hardy variety. Fruit is excellent and firm – like candy!

Titan :

Very good production. Light red, large and cone-shaped fruit. Very susceptible to red core disease. It is preferable to grow it in light soil.

Autumn Britten :

Similar to Autumn Bliss. Delicious fruit is large and very firm. Average hardiness.

Caroline :

Very productive, recurrent-flowering variety. The quality of fruit is excellent (very good level of firmness). Earlier harvest than the Heritage variety. Ideal for fresh produce markets.

Heritage :

A very late, popular autumn variety. Firm, sweet and succulent fruit. Two productions per year, in July and September.

Himbo Top :

Very productive and shows very strong resistance to red core disease and verticillium wilt. Fruit is very large and firm.

Jaclyn :

Recurrent-flowering variety similar to Polana. Fruit is firm, very delicious and yield is excellent.

Josephine :

A very late recurrent-flowering variety, its fruit is of excellent quality, light red and firm.

Pathfinder :

A short and vigorous plant, very productive. Fruit is large, firm and delicious. Sensitive to mites. August production.

Polana :

Production before Heritage (10 days). Fruit is firm and of very nice quality. Very productive.

Purple:

Royalty :

A late variety with good productivity. Its purple fruit is very firm, has good but slightly acidic flavour. Ideal for processing.

Jewel:

A black variety of mid-season raspberry plants. Very vigorous and hardy plant. Very attractive and delicious fruit. Resistant to anthracnose.

Mac Black:

A black raspberry plant that is later than Jewel. Its fruit is delicious and of a good size. Very productive, average hardiness.

Blue:

Bleu Nuit (“Knight Blue”):

A very hardy, blue raspberry plant with average production. Large, firm fruit. The plant is very thorny.

Yellow:

Anne:

A recurrent-flowering variety, very productive but of average hardiness. Its yellow fruit is very sweet and firm. Low resistance to viruses.

Kiwi Gold:

A recurrent-flowering variety. Its yellow fruit is large and very sweet. Good production and a good level of hardiness make it an excellent choice.
